A plain-language summary of how Soundprint-AI handles your data. We built this app for your Apple Music and Spotify stats — not to sell your information.

Wesley Ajavon (Soundprint-AI) is responsible for your data. Questions? Reach us through account settings or the support channel on the site.

Only what's needed to run your dashboard:

  • Account info — email, name, profile photo, and how you sign in.
  • Streaming history — artists, tracks, and when you streamed them, from files you upload: an Apple Music CSV export or a Spotify ZIP export.
  • Spotify connection (optional) — if you sign in with Spotify, we store that link to confirm it works. Your dashboard history still comes from the export you upload, not from a live streaming API.
  • Your choices — cookie preferences, AI settings, and other consents.
  • Duet (optional) — if you use friend sharing: relationship status, sharing level you choose, and streaming statistics you allow accepted friends to see.

To show your stats from the history you import, keep you signed in, and improve the app. Optional analytics and error reporting only run if you agree in our cookie settings.

AI features that send artist or track names to a provider only run when you opt in.

Duet (friend sharing) only runs when you accept or send a friend request, and only at the sharing level you choose for each friend: comparison and read-only viewing of your stats.

Your account and streaming data stay while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your data promptly from our systems.

We rely on trusted providers to run the app. They process data only on our instructions and for the purposes below.

  • Supabase (hosting, auth, database, profile photo storage) — runs your account and stores your streaming data.
  • Groq (US) — optional AI features when you opt in; may receive artist/track titles and aggregated streaming stats.
  • Vercel (global) — hosts the app; optional analytics only if you consent to cookies.
  • Sentry (US/EU) — optional error monitoring and session replay only if you consent to cookies.

You request your listening history from Apple or Spotify and upload the file to Soundprint. Apple and Spotify are not our processors for that export — we only receive what you choose to upload.

If you optionally sign in with Spotify, Spotify’s rules apply to that connection. Soundprint-AI isn’t affiliated with Apple or Spotify.

Some providers may process data outside your country (including the United States). When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses.

Groq and Sentry are only used for the optional features described above and only when you opt in (AI) or accept the relevant cookies.

Duet lets you compare streaming statistics with friends who have a Soundprint-AI account, and view an accepted friend’s stats dashboard (Your Music) read-only, at the sharing level they chose. This feature is entirely optional.

To see another user's stats, you must send them a friend request (by email) or accept theirs. They choose whether to accept and what to share: aggregated statistics (trends, top artists and genres — no track list) that can be viewed and compared; or, if they choose detailed sharing, the same aggregates plus top tracks and head-to-head comparisons for an artist, track, or genre.

What you share is decided by you, friend by friend, when you accept a request. You can change the sharing level or revoke a friend anytime in Settings → Duet sharing. We record your consent (type and version) as proof.

We do not offer public user discovery, an activity feed, or open leaderboards. Your email is not shown to friends in Duet. Invitations use a uniform response to limit account enumeration.

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data. Go to Settings → Data & privacy to export or delete your account.

You can also change cookie, AI, and Duet sharing choices anytime. If you're in the EU, you may contact your local data protection authority.
